A Bit of Psycho-Fiscal Therapy
A bit of Psycho-Fiscal Therapy in AudioBook form before the election... CNBC business contributor and author of The Arrogance Cycle, Michael Farr writes an objective view (in layman's terms) about how rampant consumerism, a sense of entitlement, narcissism and resentment toward the upper class, as well as many psychological factors, created the perfect economic storm. Michael Farr blogs at CNBC, "Bruce Horlick does an amazing job of making my words come alive. If you prefer to listen to business books, I think you will find that Bruce is able to capture, inform, and entertain listeners like few can." The Arrogance Cycle, Think You Can't Lose, Think Again-What Every Investor Needs to Know to Protect Their Assets from the Next Big Bubble.

Marvin Glass, one of my favorite eccentrics...
My favorite chapter to narrate in Passion for Winning by Aaron D. Cushman was about the life of eccentric businessman and toy creator, Marvin Glass. Has a "normal" creative businessman ever succeeded? Doubtful. I suppose their eccentricities help propel them to greatness. Consider this a free mini AudioBook (70 minutes) for stream or download.

A TV Promo Announcer's Heaven
This 11 minute piece is for a full week of network promotions delivered by one of my favorite VO guys, Ernie Anderson. Oh man, Ernie is simply at his best here... I highly doubt you'll ever find this long form piece floating on YouTube or anywhere. I actually stumbled across the tape in a box of other cassettes... The recording quality is not ideal; I didn't know the network was even going to air this special promo, but I got lucky in that I at least had a handheld cassette recorder next to me, back in the days (early 80's) when I used to dream about being a network promo voice. Give it a listen.
